Here are few of my favorite steelhead flies. These are weighted and usually fished in deep riffles. They will work in any other river that hold steelhead and salmon. If your interested you can make a purchase and send me a list of which flies , and how many you would like. Checks or cash are accepted and I will mail them as quick as I can.

fishing news

Just a brief update. Weather has warmed up in the last few weeks averaging high 40- 50 degrees which makes it a nice day for fishing. About a week ago I went to the hood river, the water was a little high and just a bit of color, but I think conditions are fine now. I didn't have any luck but talked to a man who had hooked 3 steelhead(throwing spinners). I was bend today and stopped at the The patient fly shop, talked to a guy there and he said they were having luck around the Maupin area for steelhead, swinging big fly's with sink tip line, purple, pink, black are good colors around this time. Leech patterns are a good bet. good luck
